About Low Food Movement

The Low Food Movement has set the goal to change Dutch gastronomy. We want to make Dutch food culture leading when it comes to forward thinking on subjects as sustainability and inclusion. In a world where food security and the sustainability of the food and agricultural system are two of the big themes we believe that the food movement has an important role in changing food culture. The Low Food Movement will therefore act as a networking agent and platform where new ideas are created and implemented.
   

About Low Food Lab

Low Food Lab is a pilot for an open-source platform in The Netherlands that investigates how gastronomy and culinary techniques can offer solutions to societal challenges in our food system. With Low Food Lab we explore the potential of new, forgotten, not yet explored, undervalued products in The Netherlands. Low Food Lab is connected to the non-profit Low Food Movement that was established in 2018.

About Flevo Campus

​

Flevo Campus is one of our biggest partners in crime. Flevo Campus is a research and innovation network that was founded by Aeres University of Applied Sciences, the municipality of Almere, the province of Flevoland and Wageningen UR. Flevo Campus is our partner for the Low Food Labs and Chefs Academy.
